How about you grab a friend and take a hike or walk around a park or from one park to the other? It's good for the heart, legs, brain, and soul. Take a break and pause along the way to stretch and strengthen the other parts of the body, making it more complete and engaging. Communities can make use of the hidden fitness potential in their local parks. We can map the parks for routes and exercises at "fitness stations" using features that already exist. The next step is to train community members to be fitness leaders using the maps in their own parks. Once fitness becomes part of the community's culture, this knowledge and motivation will be passed from one generation to the next.
